PARADE OF HOMES • Be on time (15 minutes before
the Parade Opens) and keep house open until closing time • Walk through your assigned home prior to your shift and periodically walk through the Home during your shift to assess the areas. This is especially important in the remodeled homes on the tour. • Volunteer parking is on the edge of the road. Please do not park in the garage or on driveway. • Sell tickets ($5 each) to anyone who doesn’t have one (anyone over 12 must have a ticket) • Punching tickets (punch number corresponding to your house) • Initial Your House Star # on back of each ticket (if you’re house 2, initial star 2) • Mark on your Tally Sheet for each person over 12 • Distribute Parade of Homes Magazines • No food, drinks or smoking allowed in the homes • Volunteers may not have any children with them • Encourage people to fill out a Home Evaluation Card. (not mandatory) • If people have questions about the home, please give them a Home Description sheet provided. • Do not give out prices on the houses, direct inquiries to the builder • At the end of each shift remember to initial the Tally Sheets • Upon leaving, please turn off all the lights and lock the doors. Replace the key in designated spot. • *PEOPLES CHOICE AWARD: Encourage guests to visit all homes on the tour. Fill out the back of their ticket and vote for their favorite. Place their ticket in the “gift bag” provided. They could win $100.
