The Northwest Michigan Home Builders Association is pleased to
offer a $500-$1,000 scholarship in memory of R.D. Neuman, one
of our founding members. The scholarship is available to students
planning to attend college that meet the following criteria:
1.
Must be a resident of Wexford, Missaukee or Osceloa County.
2. Pursing a degree in the construction trades. Architecture and
Engineering students are encouraged to apply, as well as those
seeking an associate’s degree in drafting or building, etc.
3. Preference will be given to a graduating senior.
4. The scholarship is not restricted to Home Builder Association
member families.
5. Scholarship money must be used for tuition or books.
6. The college attended must be in Michigan.
7. Student must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
8. Student must submit a written paragraph on goals and aspirations.
9. Student must submit a listing of extra-curricular activities/work
history.
10. Top three candidates will be asked to attend a personal interview.
11. Scholarship recipient(s) will not receive funds until we have
proof of 1st Semester completion (maintain minimum 2.5 GPA) and
2nd semester enrollment.
The deadline for receipt of applications is May 1.
